Now, TMZ is reporting that “Sources who worked with Katie for years tell TMZ that bubble-bobbed Katie is “barely recognizable” as the same person who married Suri’s father in 2006, and that she “has completely changed.” Indeed, if her spot on “Regis” today is any indication, it looks like she has morphed into some type of Scientolobotomized version of herself. She’s “clear” all right — of her former self!”

Jamie-Lynn ratings are way up! bad press is good.

Jamie Lynn Spears has captured the full attention of the age 9-14 viewing audience with her Zoey 101 cable TV show. The season finale, the first episode to air since Spears pregnancy was announced, drew a phenomenal crowd of watchers. Nielsen Media Research put the number at 7.3 million households who tuned in to watch the hour long broadcast.

The Nick show was already enjoying a great ratings run with an average of 3 million tweens and young teens tuning in to view the antics of the 16 year old. Friday’s broadcast was the second most watched cable show for the entire day - a huge ratings bonanza.

I wonder why so many celebs allow themselves to be taped when eventually someone will want to make a quick buck or get revenge. For some people, this is the only way they would get famous, but for someone like Adriana who is already very famous, it's a shocker.

Mary Jay Blidge #1 selling album this week

Mary J. Blige has the #1 album in the country finally dethrowing Josh Groban. Groban’s Noel was the #1 album for five consecutive weeks. Blige’s Growing Pains is #1 after debuting last week at #2. The only newcoming to the top ten this week was Colbie Caillat’s Coco album.

Beyonce and Jay-Z married last month in Paris

London, Jan 6: Pop star Beyonce Knowles and her rapper fiancé Jay-Z secretly tied the knot at pal Giorgio Armani's house in Paris last month, it has been revealed.
The former Destiny Child’s star, reportedly married the hip-hop star in the presence of close family members and friends, while the couple’s representatives have constantly been denying the news.
Although, all the guests at the wedding were sworn to secrecy, one of them revealed that Beyonce is not single anymore.
"It was a lovely, intimate ceremony and a very emotional wedding. They wanted to avoid all the usual fuss and attention that normally follows them everywhere and celebrate with the closest people in their lives,” News of the World quoted the source, as saying.
Beyonce, like always, looked absolutely radiant, and couldn't stop smiling. The pair of them looked thrilled,” added the source.
Jay-Z proposed to Beyonce during a romantic luxury holiday in Cannes, France, in May.
"It was the wedding they both wanted. After all, they were getting married in the most romantic city in the world,” said the source. (ANI)

golden globe boycott acadamy awards maybe next

Golden Globe Awards in a show of support for striking writers, the actors union said, dealing a blow to the glittering red carpet extravaganza.
Screen Actors Guild President Alan Rosenberg said in a statement there was “unanimous agreement” among actors not to cross picket lines set up by writers locked in a bitter dispute with film and television producers.
Rosenberg said the boycott would cover all nominees up for acting awards in the January 13 event, regarded as the second most important awards show in Hollywood after the Oscars. It would also cover stars acting as presenters.
The decision means that nominated A-listers such as Julia Roberts, Tom Hanks and George Clooney are all likely to steer clear of the Globes, greatly diminishing one of the highlights of Hollywood’s awards season.
“After considerable outreach to Golden Globe actor nominees and their representatives over the past several weeks, there appears to be unanimous agreement that these actors will not cross WGA picket lines to appear on the Golden Globe Awards as acceptors or presenters,” Rosenberg said.
“We applaud our members for this remarkable show of solidarity for striking Writers Guild of America (WGA) writers."
The head of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA), which runs the Golden Globes, said the organisation remained optimistic of reaching a deal with the writers which would allow the show to go on.
“The HFPA has been placed in an extremely difficult position with the ongoing Writers Guild strike,” HFPA president Jorge Camara said in a statement.
“We are making every effort to work out a solution that will permit the Golden Globes to take place with the creative community present to participate. We hope to announce a resolution to this unfortunate predicament on Monday."
Hollywood screenwriters have been on strike since November 5 after the WGA and the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP) failed to agree terms for a new contract that expired in October.
Negotiations have foundered over the writers’ demands for an increased share of profits from Internet and new media sales.
The two-month strike has forced the suspension of numerous television series as well as the postponement of work on several Hollywood films.
Hollywood has been abuzz with speculation in recent weeks over how the strike may impact the myriad awards shows leading up to and including the Oscars on February 24.

What will Britney do now?

“Britney has lost the opportunity to make decisions for herself,” says Dr. Stacy Kaiser, an L.A.-based psychotherapist. “The law is in charge of her. It’s very rare.”
Committed under California’s “5150 Hold” – in which Spears was deemed a danger to herself and/or others – she is not permitted to leave Cedars-Sinai “under any circumstances” for at least 72 hours.
“She will be isolated, and all her behavior will be monitored,” says Kaiser. “They’ll make sure she doesn’t have any drugs on her. They will closely watch everything she puts in her mouth. If they’re giving her medication, they will make sure she takes it.” It is unlikely she is being restrained, “but if she is being difficult and argumentative, they could sedate her and strap her down,” says Kaiser, noting that the 5150 is so extreme because it strips a patient of nearly all autonomy.
So Britney is isolated, receiving psychological evaluations and is in unfamiliar surroundings. I think being forced to stay out of the media for even a short period of time might do her some good. I have to admit I am feeling a little sorry for her, at least she’s getting some help even if it wasn’t her choice.

update:Since being released from the Cedars-Sinai psych ward this morning, Britney Spears has been on the go. Spears was seen leaving her gated Beverly Hills home in her white Mercedes, as soon as she saw the paps she made a quick U-turn and went back into the gated community. Pagesix reports that Britney was on route to pal Sam Lufti's house, but Sam has been trying to track her down all day. Apparently Britney ditched the hospital and her family to meet up with her married boy-toy photog Adnan Ghalib. Where will she go next?? Stay tuned...

OK! Magazine is reporting that their sources are claiming that celeb socialite Kim Kardashian is engaged to New Orleans Saints football star and former Heisman Trophy winner Reggie Bush.
Sources close to Kim Kardashian are revealing to OK! that the 27-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians star is now engaged to her boyfriend, 22-year-old Heisman trophy winning football player Reggie Bush.
Despite that New Year’s resolution to not blab about her love life, Kim, who was joined at the party with her sisters Kloe and Kourtney, told OK! her holiday with Reggie, who has been unable to play with his New Orleans Saints since being injured in early December, has been “the best!”
